The substance known as Botox is a neurotoxin which upon injection attaches to your facial muscles. It acts to block the release of acetylcholine which is a neurotransmitter that is responsible for triggering facial muscle contractions. By blocking this neurotransmitter Botox relaxes your facial muscles causing a striking reduction of lines and wrinkles.
Will I get sick from Botox?
No there is no risk of getting sick from a Botox treatment. To explain, Botox is comprised of tiny amounts of a botulinum toxin protein which have been purified. This protein is derived from Clostridium botulinum. Exhaustive studies have been done on the product and it has been found to be completely safe and is FDA approved for use.
What does a Botox Treatment Involve?
Your treatment time will vary depending on the procedure you are having done. But a session can be as short as about 10 minutes. To begin your practitioner will apply a specially formulated numbing cream to provide relief from any discomfort. The number of injections you will receive will also vary depending upon your chosen treatment.
The Botox injections will then be delivered to the skin or muscles in the areas of focus for the treatment. Your practitioner will be more than happy to provide you with specific details for your procedure during your free consultation
What should I wear?
Normal clothing is perfectly fine. No make up should be worn. However, if necessary we can remove your makeup before your treatment.
Any recovery or downtime after a procedure?
These procedures generally require little to no downtime or recovery. You can return to normal activity right away. Your practitioner will give you specific instructions for do’s and don’ts after your procedure.
Post Treatment
Some patients will notice some slight bruising around the injection sites.
When will I see results?
Generally, you will notice results in 3 days with full results in 2 weeks. If the results you were expecting do not appear after two weeks we will provide a touch up for free. If so reach out to our office and set up a touch up treatment.
How long does it last?
You will be able to enjoy your exceptional results for up to four months. It is required that the procedure be repeated on average every 3 to 4 months.
Dermal Filler
Our practitioners use a product called Juvéderm. Which is a dermal filler produced to exacting specifications by the industry leading pharmaceutical company Allergan. The product is made up of a gel which contains hyaluronic acid. The filler is injected into areas of the face such as cheeks, jaw line, lips and more to provide you with a younger appearance.
Juvéderm fillers, which are FDA approved, work to replace fat deposits and collagen that are lost as you age. The loss of these fats and collagen play a role in the appearance of age and prominence of wrinkles.

Should I get Juvéderm fillers?
Juvéderm fillers are right for anyone over the age of 21 who wants to visibly reduce the appearance of wrinkles or wants fuller lips or cheeks. These fillers applied by our skilled practitioners provide fast and long-lasting effects without costly and painful cosmetic surgery. Keep in mind that every patient is different and individual results may vary.
What does a Juvéderm treatment involve?
